The artists responsible were Jean le Clerc and. L. Gaultier. Also noted in the ancient text, where the illustration appears, is that the ceremony represented took place 5 years after the birth of Louis XIII. The illustration shows the baptism of the dauphin (the future Louis XIII) and his sisters on september 14, 1606, at Fontainbleau in France. Louis XIII reigned from 1610 to 1643.
