The M115 - 203 mm Howitzer was a WWII weapon produced in the United States. After the rift with the Soviet Union in 1948, the Yugoslav army received these howitzers in the early 1950s as a part of U.S. military aid. Croatia had 24 units. The Croat–Bosniak War in central Bosnia was a conflict between the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the self-proclaimed Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, supported by Croatia, that began on 18th October 1992. After heavy fighting between the Croats and Muslims, a ceasefire was finally co-ordinated on 23rd February 1994 and a Muslim-Croat Federation established.
