190402-N-SF508-0008 JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (April 2, 2019) The lead ship of the U.S. Navy’s newest class of guided-missile destroyers, USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000), arrives in Pearl Harbor. During the scheduled port visit, Zumwalt will conduct engagements with local officials and organizations. Zumwalt is under operational control of U.S. 3rd Fleet. Third Fleet leads all naval forces in the Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global Navy.
