1965, historical, junior school football team group photo. Happy young boys wearing the kit and boots of the era; v- neck shirts, pull-string shorts and football boots, many with leather covered steel toepads including some with a high ankle. Seveal of the boys are wearing the popular 'Gola' boot of the day, a leather football boot, with a lower cut below the ankle, made by Botterill's of Bozeat of Northamptonshire, England, a boot company founded in 1895. In the 1960s, players of the famous Liverpool FC wore Gola football boots.
