Several thousand people demonstrate for peace at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin's Mitte district under the title 'No to wars - stop the arms race - shape a peaceful and just future'. One of the central demands of the demonstration are negotiations with Russia. In addition to keynote speaker and former Left Party (Die LInke) politician Sahra Wagenknecht, German journalist and publicist Gabriele Krone-Schmalz also spoke at the demonstration.
