A diver photographs in a giant kelp forest (Macrocystis pyrifera). Fortescue Bay, Tasmania, Australia. Tasman Sea. This is the same species of giant kelp which is widespread on the Pacific coast of North America. In Australia these forests are only found in Tasmania.
