A set of Persian coin scales Qajar period, 19th century. Rectangular wood case, the sides decorated with floral cartouches. On the hinged and painted lid a portrayal of Fath Ali Shah amidst his courtiers framed by a floral border. The interior with polychrome and gold painting on an orange ground. Inside two differently sized iron coin scales with curved brass pans, the smaller ones with master's mark "Hashim".
