A single-barrelled Very pistol, First World War, navy Cal. 4, no. 574. Matching numbers. Drop barrel, length 128 mm. Total length 250 mm. Catch spring lock. Double action. Constructed and manufactured by Artilleriewerft Wilhelmshaven, production year 1917. On top of receiver marked "AW.W.17 No 574", at bottom left of barrel housing navy acceptance mark crown/M. No further stamps or inscriptions. All-steel manufacture, blued field grey, partially spotted and in a patina.
