A Vintage postcard depicting ‘Mr Pecksniff’, a character from Charles Dickens’ book, “Martin Chuzzlewit”. The card also bears a corresponding passage from the book and was published as a promotional item for 'The Leather Bottle' public house in Cobham, Kent. Built in 1629, this pub was featured in Dickens’ book, “The Pickwick Papers”.
