1960s, historical, a uniformed Irish Guard in tunic and forage cap in attendance for 'The Most Noble Order of the Garter,' a special ceremonial event taking place at WIndsor Castle, Berkshire, England, UK, giving an order of service leaflet to a lady guest. Formed in 1900 by Queen Victoria, the Irish Guards is a regiment of the British Arrmy and part of their duties is to guard the British Royal Family and to take part in the traditional ceremonial occasions.
