The temple was a filming location for some scenes from the Tomb Raider movie, in which Angelina Jolie played the role of Lara Croft. The heroine fought against the illuminati secret society for the possession of an ancient talisman. As a result, the name of Angelina Jolie and the film itself have captured the hearts of film lovers, tourists and even locals, so the temple has been dubbed Angelina Jolie's temple. Near the resort, some restaurants will even offer Tomb Raider cocktails, a marketing strategy that makes the site even more famous.
