Dubbed the Beast of Belsen by camp inmates, he was a cruel heartless German Nazi war criminal, directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. Executed for his crimes against humanity in Hamelin Prison Germany in 1945, after the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany and his subsequent crimes against humanity trial.
