The annual Ayr County Show featuring all aspects of farming and country life was held within the grounds of Ayr Racecourse on a sunny spring day and was visited by thousands of spectators and competitors from across the whole of Britain. Competitions included "Tug of War" teams from Young farmers groups, livestock judging and a poultry competition judged by a number of international judges.
