The first concert, which took place at the Olympiastadion on July 15, 2023, was met with protests and a significant police presence due to the band's contentious reputation. Protesters at the protest in Berlin held up signs reading, 'No Stage for Perpetrators. Against Abuse of Power. The protesters also expressed the belief that this 'rape culture' must finally be stopped. 'Victims are never to blame, ' they shouted. The scandal involving Till Lindemann, the lead vocalist of the German band, emerged when a woman from Northern Ireland named Shelby Lynn accused him of sexual misconduct. According to her claims, she was led backstage during a concert intermission in Vilnius, where Lindemann allegedly expected to have sex with her. She refused, and although she stated that Lindemann did not touch her, she woke up the next morning with bruises on her hips, forearms, and wrists. She posted photos and a video of these injuries on Instagram and Twitter, suggesting that she might have been drugged. Following Lynn's accusations, other female fans came forward anonymously, stating that they had been approached by a ''casting director'' via social media and at concerts, inviting them to special after-show parties. Lindemann's lawyers stated in a press release that the allegations that women were drugged at Rammstein concerts to enable Lindemann to perform sexual acts on them were ''without exception untrue''. They threatened legal consequences against media outlets for ''unlawful suspicion reporting' (Credit Image: © Michael Kuenne/PRESSCOV via ZUMA Press Wire) EDITORIAL USAGE ONLY!
