Less than 50 pro U.S. President Trump demonstrators took part in a rally to reopen Massachusetts in front of the Massachusetts State House in central Boston on the same day that Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker made wearing a face covering or mask mandatory in public. Baker also extended his states stay-at-home order until May 18th.

Less than 50 pro U.S. President Trump demonstrators took part in a rally to reopen Massachusetts in front of the Massachusetts State House in central Boston on the same day that Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker made wearing a face covering or mask mandatory in public. Baker also extended his states stay-at-home order until May 18th. Most demonstrators outside the state house did not wear face coverings or masks. Demonstrations against state stay-at-home emergency orders and business closures happened in a number of major U.S. cities on May 1st.
