Boston, Massachusetts, USA. 31st August 2019. Several hundred took part in the Straight Pride Parade through central Boston, MA. The Straight Pride marchers, supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump, were outnumbered by anti-Trump and gay rights supporters who lined the streets along the Straight Pride march from Copley Square to Boston City Hall Plaza. Hundreds of Boston Police, many in riot gear, separated the marchers from the anti-straight pride counter demonstrators along the parade route and at City Hall Plaza. The Straight Pride march was organized by the newly formed “Super Happy Fun America”, who organized the Boston event as a response to gay pride parades that have been held in most major U.S, cities. Straight Pride marches were not allowed in a number of U.S. cities. Photo shows truck with Trump inflatable and American flags on Boylston Street at the start of the parade.
