They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They are the Stanley Cup Champions and have won five Stanley Cup championships since their founding in 1926. The Carolina Hurricanes are a professional ice hockey team based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. They are members of the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL), and play their home games at the 18, 680-seat PNC Arena. They are the only major league professional sports team in North Carolina to play in Raleigh.
