20 September 2018, Brandenburg, Grassau: A huge German flag can be seen with countless signs on a field. The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) has implemented the project "Digitalacker", a large open-air exhibition on the topic of broadband expansion, in Grassau district of Elbe-Elster. With this format, the BMVI wants to educate citizens and the media and inform them how intensively broadband expansion is being driven forward across the board. Citizens are invited to take a walk on the large map of Germany and explore broadband expansion. The "Digitalacker" will be open to the public from Tuesday, September 18 to Sunday, September 23. Guided tours by BMVI experts take place daily at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday also at 3 p.m. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa-Zentralbild/ZB
