Dress, Bromley Hall, (Middlesex, England, 1712–1763), Medium: cotton Technique: printed by engraved copper plate on plain weave, Woman's printed cotton dress, with a low neckline gathered on to a drawstring in front; across the back fullness is gathered into sewn-down pleats across the shouler blades. The dress hangs waistless to the floor, and has a small train in the back. Close-fitting set-in sleeves. Ruffle around the neck and hem edges. Pocket slits in side seams. A plain linen lining in the top forms a fitted inner bodice, with holes for lacing in front. The fabric is copper plate
