The Patio of the Lions (Patio de los Leones) the most famous place of the Alhambra in Granada.On top of the hill al-Sabika,on the bank of the river Darro,Granada Spain.Constructed as a fortress in 889 CE.,then largely ignored.Rebuilt mid-13th century by Arab Nasrid emir Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar of the Emirate of Granada,After the Christian Reconquista in 1492,the site became the Royal Court of Ferdinand and Isabella.
