Endeavour I, the former America's Cup challenger, was launched at Gosport in readiness for the transatlantic voyage with Endeavour II, Mr T.O.M. Sophwith's new challenger, to which Endeavour I will act as trial horse in American waters. She has been lent for this purpose by Mr H A Andreas. It is expected that the yacht will leave Gosport on 1st May , Endeavour I being accompanied by a Belgian trawler which will tow her if necessary.
