Feb. 26, 2012 - Anti - Government Demonstrations in Athens. Police Manhandle Rioter.: There were serious anti - Government demonstrations in the streets of Athens recently - when 3,000 workers congregated and attacked the police who tried to disperse them. The crowd grew to 10,000 strong armoured cars and tear gas. Among the injured of over were overturned and set on fire before order was restored. Photo shows an injured demonstrator is carried off - during the riots in the streets of Athens. More than a hundred people were injured.
