More information:

Arthurs Stone on Cefn Bryn Common is a neolithic burial chamber or a Cromlech which dates back to 2500BC. The stone is said to weigh more than 25 tons and is supported by nine uprights. It is likely that the boulder was deposited here by a retreating glacier, and was then excavated beneath by the tomb builders. There are many legends surrounding the stone, the main one being that King Arthur found the stone in his shoe and threw it onto Cefn Bryn from Llannelli. In Welsh the stone is known as Maen ceti and was considered one of the wonders of ancient Britain.
