Brecon Beacons, Powys, Wales, UK. 18th January, 2016. Icicles and frost patterns form near the summit of Pen-Y-Fan in the extreme cold and wind chill. The weather is bitterly cold on the peaks of the Brecon Beacons with a 40 mph south east wind giving a 'feels like' temperature of approximately -5deg Celsius. After a weekend of abundant snow in the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales, warmer temperatures and rain on the lower slopes has melted most of the snow. Credit: Graham M.
