Hilltop Leicestershire Yeomanry war memorial in Bradgate Park, Leicestershire, England, UK. This prominent hilltop concrete memorial was erected in around 1920 and commemorates those who died in the Boer and both World Wars. Bradgate Park is open to the public all year round and, with its network of footpaths and tracks, is a popular venue for walkers, joggers and cyclists. The park also contains ancient Oak woods, the ruins of Bradgate House (also known as Lady Jane Grey's House), a stone hilltop folly known as "Old John", herds of resident deer and the "Deer Barn" cafe.
