Their 9-minutes long film was nominated for the Oscar as Best Animated Short Film. 'Das Rad' was made both with tradtitional stop motion effects as well as with 3D computer animation and tells the story of the very old stones Hew and Kew (in the foreground) who sit on a mountain and wonder about the hectic lives of mankind. The Academy Awards will be presented on 23 March 2003 in Hollywood.
