(dpa) - Congolese altar boy Martin Lokana wears a white gown and holds a crucifix in his hands in the Nyakasanza church in Bunia in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 15 June 2003.The German government on 13 June approved sending 350 non-combat troops to take part in a European Union peace mission in the Congo. Soldiers from the Bundeswehr, Germany's armed forces, will not actually be deployed in Congo itself but will serve with airlift logistics and medical facilities in neighbouring Uganda, a government spokesman said. The German parliament still has to vote on the deployment June 18 but approval is widely expected.
