The Canopy Lizard or Berthold's Bush Anole, Polychrus gutturosus, is an arboreal lizard found throughout Central America from Honduras down to Ecuador in South America. It has a long, prehensile tail that it can use to lower itself from branch to branch in the rainforest canopy where it lives. Photographed in Costa Rica.
