More information:

Roger Hammond (born January 30, 1974 in Harlington) is an English bicycle racer, specialising in cyclo-cross and road cycling. Hammond grew up in Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire and attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School as a teenager.[1] While still at school he won the 1992 World Junior Cyclo-Cross Championship in Leeds, but elected to concentrate on his university studies rather than pursue a full-time cycling career at that point. He was the British Road champion in 2003 and 2004. He rode for the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team in 2005 and 2006. He currently rides for Team Columbia. For the 2005 and 2006 Tour of Britain, Hammond rode for the Great Britain team, as Discovery Channel did not take part in the race.
