The Cruck Barn, as its name suggests, was originally a cattle barn. It has been converted to form a self-catering holiday cottage for 2 people. The accommodation consists of one large main room with a modern kitchen and dining area at one end and a lounge area at the other. There is a separate double bedroom and bathroom. The cottage is located in Grisedale on one of the main routes to Helvellyn and is reached via a single-track unpaved road of about a mile long from Patterdale.
