Amazon has been offering Black Friday deals since last Friday, with thousands of ÒDeals of the DayÓ and ÒLightning DealsÓ available with products available at a discount, in limited quantities, for a short period of time. Deals are available on everything from the latest consumer electronics and Amazon devices, to trending toys and beauty, food and drink, fashion and home. There are also a wide selection of items on offer from handcrafted gifts to innovative new products from small businesses and artisans from Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Launchpad. Black Friday, which falls on Friday, November 29, has become a highly-anticipated date in the UK shopping calendar. It was introduced to the UK by Amazon in 2010. In 2018 customers purchased over two million items on Amazon, saving nearly £40 million on epic deals on the day alone. Some of the most popular sale items included Echo Dot (3rd Gen), Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, LEGO Marvel Avengers and Waterpik Professional Water Flosser.
