U.S.Coast Guard helicopter lifting rescue swimmer at Chicago's waterfront. A United States Coast Guard HH-65A “Dolphin” short-range recovery helicopter hovers while lifting a rescue swimmer. The HH-65A measures 13.5 m (44.5 ft) long and can travel at speeds of up to 165 knots. Though normally stationed ashore, the HH-65A can land and take off from Coast Guard cutters. The Coast Guard employs the HH-65A for search and rescue operations and for maritime law enforcement.
