More information:

St. Peter in Gallicantu Church on the Eastern slopes of Mount Zion in Jerusalem. Erected in 1931 to commemorate Peter's triple rejection of Jesus and his subsequent remorse. Catholic tradition positions the palace of Caiaphas on this very site therefore it logically follows that Jesus may have been imprisoned in one of the underground crypts located beneath the church. The church belongs to the Assumptionist Fathers, a French order established in 1887 and named for Mary's Assumption into heaven.
