Macro screenshot of the Iraq War Logs section of the WikiLeaks website - the leak of nearly 400, 000 classified US Army reports relating to the Iraq War. The documents, covering the period from 2004 to 2009, were published online in October 2010 and are the largest leak of secret material in US military history. Critics of the conflict claim they provide evidence that the US military under-reported civilian deaths and that prisoner abuse by Iraqi forces had often been ignored. WikiLeaks, run by The Sunshine Press, is a whistle-blower website launched in late 2006 which publishes leaked material on a range of topics from anonymous sources. Editorial use only.
