The swimming pool and fire reservoir at the former Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, Oswiecim, Poland. The existance of the swimming pool inside the camp boundary at the Auschwitz camp has been used by Holocaust deniers as evidence that the Holocaust did not happen. The sign beside the pit says, 'Fire Brigade reservoir built in the form of a swimming pool, probably in early 1944'. Photographs do exist showing people (prisoners/guards?) using the water filled pit as a swimming pool. The pool features starting blocks and a springboard.
