Organized in the large frame of the Lingotto Fiere in Turin by Slow Food, the Piedmont Region and the city of Turin, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, the Salone del Gusto is a unique event that unites the most famous chefs, the products and the most sought after producers and craftsmen of quality agro-from all over the world in a five-day event. The event was held from23 to 27 october and looks like a food market, a meeting place and gathering where you practice the economy and exchange, supplemented by massive doses of food culture and ethical and social awareness is home to around 1, 000 exhibitors from over 100 countries. Here the consumer can discover and taste the products of its territory and the world, pausing to reflect on ethical issues presented from time to time. This year's main themes are the "Ark of Taste" and "Family Farming".
