The Kelpies appear out of the freezing fog. The Kelpies are 30 metre high horse-head sculptures, standing next to the Forth and Clyde Canal, in The Helix, a parkland project in the Falkirk Council Area, Scotland. Designed by sculptor Andy Scott and bult from stainless steel, The Kelpies are mystical water-borne equine creatures which celebrate the horse’s role in industry and agriculture.
