This series of images are from Yankee Stadium Slugfest held 5 June 2010 at Yankee Stadium for the World Super Welterweight Championship fight between three-time world titleist Miguel Cotto and undefeated World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight champion Yuri Foreman. This boxing match was at the New York Yankees' home in almost 35 years. Cotto won by TKO in the ninth round after a brutal beating on a limping Yuri Foreman, who is an Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn. The fight was stopped in the 7th round after Forman slipped injured his mid leg and a towel was thrown in to the ring from his camp but referee Arthur Mercante Jr. tossed the towel back and continued the fight as the Puerto Rican Cotto pounded the almost defenseless Forman.
