The Cathedral of Eichstätt ( St. Salvator, UL Frau and St. Willibald ) is the cathedral church of the Catholic diocese of Eichstätt in Bavaria. The three-aisled hall church goes on the founding of the St. Willibald back, who is said to have built a first stone church here in the 8th century. The current church was built mainly in late Gothic and late Gothic styles and was completed in 1718 by a baroque west facade. Together with the cloister and the two-aisled Mortuarium, the cathedral is considered one of the most important medieval architectural monuments in Bavaria.
