Digital still camera views showing the International Space Station (ISS) during a fly-around by the Space Shuttle Endeavour, December 9, 2000. The 240 foot long, 38 foot wide solar array (top) is the newest part and one of the most prominent components of the station. STS-97 mission to the International Space Station was flown by Space Shuttle Endeavour. The astronauts completed three spacewalks, during which they prepared a docking port for arrival of the Destiny Module, installed Floating Potential Probes to measure electrical potential surrounding the station, installed a camera cable outside the Unity Module, and transferred supplies, equipment and refuse between Endeavour and the station. Launched December 1, landed December 11, 2000.
