Sydney, Australia. 26th May, 2017. Twenty years since the release of the Bringing them Home report, a candle lit vigil and march was held in Sydney on National Sorry Day. Protesters assembled at Victoria Park, Broadway and marched to Central Station, platform 1 where Aboriginal children had been separated from their families and sent to institutions and foster homes. Speakers recalled memories of abuse and sadness at being taken from their families. Credit: Richard Milnes/Alamy Live News
