RM2GDMGK4–A First World War era British army artillery ammunition column of wagons going along a road. The soldiers have white bands around their hats, which is unusual. Such white bands were worn by officer cadets but this does not seem to be the situation here. It is possible they are to signify the 'team' they are on during a training expercise.

RM2K644F8–A quite wonderful photograph taken in Buxton, Derbyshire showing three wounded WW1 soldiers and orphaned children collecting for Barnardos. The soldiers are wearing First World War period British Army issue Hospital Blue jackets (two are under their overcoats). Such items of uniform were worn by wounded servicemen whilst recovering as convalescents in the UK. A lighter blue than the 'Kitchener blue' (emergency issue uniforms at the start of the war), the 'Hospital blue' was often worn with a cap with the man's regimental cap badge and a red tie.
