On a holiday in Brazil, The ferry boat "Balsa" leaves from the port at Itacare, Bahia, Cocoa Coast, Brazil to take passengers, four wheel drives and horses across the Rio Contas where it meets the ocean to the other side so that they can journey on inland to places such as Piricanga, Maraú, Costa do Dendê, Barra Grande, Mata Atlantica. The view from the ferry boat shows a canoe sitting in calm waters, leaves floating in the water, near the riverbank and coastland showing part of the diverse ecology. Natural and dreamy scene for some...the road to paradise ? or to the unknown ? Hinterland ? Forests ?
