Temporary artworks by Gufram in the public park "Biblioteca degli alberi" (Library of trees), between piazza Gae Aulenti and Isola distrect. On the background is the building "Il rasoio" in via Gaetano de Castilla and via Federico Confalonieri. Gufram is an Italian seat and furniture manufacturer based in Barolo, province of Cuneo, Piedmont region, Italy The Isola district, once infamous, is now an area of modern glamour with new buildings and skyscrapers. It is located near the Porta Nuova district and Piazza Gae Aulenti. It is full of bars, cafes, restaurants, trattorias, bookshops, ice cream parlours, shops, parks, gardens and meeting points. The area of piazza Gae Aulenti is a new part of Milan city and consists in a pedestrian square with fountains surrounded by skyscrapers and other buildings. The square was in honor of italian architect Gae Aulenti. This square with its triumph of geometries, colors, modern views and arts, water games and shops has become a meeting place. The Unicredit tower, by architect Cesar Pelli, 2011, is the tallest building in Italy with a height of 231 metres. Under the square there is the "Food distrect" with a supermarket and many restaurants and bars. Near the square is the public park "Biblioteca degli alberi" and the skyscraper "Bosco verticale", designed by archistar Stefano Boeri, regarded as one of the most beautiful skyscrapers in the world.
