History of Spain. Mutiny of Aranjuez (17-19 March 1808). A small group led by members of the fernandino party (noble people nearby to the Prince of Asturias) was heaped front to the Royal Palace and assaulted Godoy's House, looting, burning and destroying all kinds of belongings. On the morning of 19 March groups of people went to Godoy's house in Barquillo Street, in Madrid. The Prince of Peace guided by a faithful servant. Chromolithography.
