HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Visit to Salisbury. 1st May 2012. Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited Salisbury by Royal Train on Tuesday 1st May 2012 as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour of the UK. Arriving at Salisbury Railway Station The Queen and Prince Philip visited Salisbury Cathedral. They were welcomed to Salisbury by Sarah Rose Troughton, Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire.
