This is a Santhal man using a Gulel which is a hunting weapon commonly used by the Santhals which shoots a pellet wrapped in a leather thong pulled by the right hand and attached by rubbers to a V shaped wood piece held on the left hand . When the pellet is released it becomes a powerful projectile used for hunting birds and small animals like hares etc . Jarweadhi village - Bishangarh block , Hazaribaug district - Jharkhand
