Francisco Ramirez de Madrid (c. 1445-1501), the Artilleryman. Artillery General and Secretary to the Catholic Monarchs. He took part in the capture of Granada. Died fighting against the Muslims in Sierra Bermeja on 18 March 1501, where he had been commissioned by royal order to put down the uprising of the Mudejars of the Serrania de Ronda.
