The 12 villages act as nodal points which then serve the outlying villages. They take over the school of each village for one day a month and run the mobile clinics from the classrooms. The service has a fully functioning mobile hospital bus, and support staff with 350 volunteer doctors that work on a rota basis from the ashram in the town of Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India.
