The historic residence of the 20th President of the United States President Garfield, is a preserved National Historic Site managed by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The home was acquired in 1876 and subsquently added on to house his large family. The home, referred to as Lawnfield, was the last residence of President Garfield prior to his assassination in 1881.
